NCCR Automation’s interdisciplinary setting puts our work in a wider context, which is crucial to enable real‑world, high-impact robotics applications.
My research focuses on robotics perception and state estimation. I’m currently interested in tackling the bottlenecks that limit downstream components that depend on perception, with the goal of enabling a broader range of robotics applications.
I completed my PhD in 2021 at the University of Technology Sydney (Australia), supervised by T. Vidal-Calleja. After a postdoc in the same lab, I worked at the University of Toronto (Canada) with T. D. Barfoot. I joined the Mobile Robotics Lab (ETH Zurich) and the NCCR Automation in November 2025.
In my spare time, I enjoy rock climbing and spending time in nature.
